Our Principal

With over two decades of dedicated service in the field of education, Mrs. Boyer is a passionate advocate for student success and innovation in learning. From her early career of owning and operating her own preschool to her leadership roles in school administration and program management, Mrs. Boyer has left an indelible mark on the educational landscape of Colorado.


Having served on the Board of Education in Fort Lupton, Colorado, Mrs. Boyer brings a deep
understanding of educational policy and governance to her work. Her hands-on experience as a teacher spans various grade levels, from guiding young minds in 5 th grade classrooms in Wiggins, Colorado, to inspiring mathematical curiosity in 6 th graders at Fort Lupton Middle
School.


Mrs. Boyer’s journey in education also includes pivotal roles such as Senior Program Manager for Innovative Education and the Alternative Teacher Licensure Program at Centennial BOCES. Here, she spearheaded initiatives to foster creative teaching methodologies and support aspiring educators on their path to licensure.


For eight years, Mrs. Boyer served as Principal of Wiggins Elementary (K-6), where her
visionary leadership and dedication to student-created learning enriched the educational
experience for countless children. Mrs. Boyer is currently in her third year acting as Principal of Sherman Elementary in Fort Morgan, Colorado. Her commitment to academic excellence and holistic development has been the cornerstone of her tenure.


Educationally equipped with a Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and a
Master’s in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix, Mrs. Boyer combines
theoretical knowledge with practical insights gained through years of hands-on experience in the classroom and beyond.


Beyond her professional endeavors, Mrs. Boyer finds joy and fulfillment in creative pursuits
such as painting and sewing. Her skills as an aesthetician help her understand the importance of holistic well-being, both inside and outside the classroom. Family and her cherished little dog hold a special place in her heart, grounding her in values of love, compassion, and connection. With a profound love for working in schools and a tireless dedication to educational excellence, Mrs. Boyer continues to inspire and uplift students, educators, and communities alike, leaving an enduring legacy of learning and growth wherever she goes.
